JULIAN FROST
Argh! There's a
Skeleton Inside You!

Idan Ben-Barak and I made a kids book about helping Quog the armless alien to grow hands. Using the book to 'scan' the reader's own hand, Quog learns just how useful it is to have bones and muscles and nerves. Eventually Quog grows her own fully functional pair of arms, fixes her spaceship, and makes it to Kevin's party, just in time to give him a birthday hug.

'Argh! There's a Skeleton Inside You!' won the Australian Book Designers Association Best Designed Children's Illustrated Book, and Designers Choice Childrens/Young Adult Book of the Year. It has been translated into 11 languages.
